Banapoem – rich tastes within

I wonder if there could be a Banana Poet Laureate…

Or whether I may start a trend in fruitful poetry?

Pick me!  Pick me!  Pick me!

Says the poetry!

{Enough!  I cry… here’s today’s poem…}

Banapoem pt1 (1)

Yellow Sun kissed my skin

Ripening rich tastes within;

Flavours from a far flung land

Lay temptingly within your hand.

Banapoem pt1 (2)

[Poetric thought:  There seem to be 5 panels on each banana, so perhaps a true Banana poem should have five lines?]
